I know it has been a long time since I have posted. I have been busy with my newest addition to the family, Cooper. He is now almost 4 months old on the 21st. He is a sweet addition to our family.

Speaking of additions...I wanted to introduce the newest addition to Kate Williams Designs...the Mini Me. It is a smaller version of the crayon holder, sporting 8 crayons. They are selling at www.katewdesigns.etsy.com for $7.00 a piece!

Mini Me Modern Diaper Bag!

This is the Modern Diaper Bag, well a "smaller" version of it! I made this one for a friend's baby shower tonight! I kind of procrastinated and made it all in one day (which I don't recommend):) It came out beautifully; I was a little nervous because I broke 5 needles (thick fabric), and only had one left. It is all done and I can't wait to see Jill's reaction!

Cabi Party

I went to a Cabi Party last night. Have you ever been to one?
I had never heard of Cabi clothing until my Mom and Aunt's
started raving about it. The website calls it the Ultimate
Personal Shopping. It was like shopping without the store.
All the clothes were there for you to try on, and you even have
this personal shopper telling you what looks good on you, what
pieces of clothing would look good with each other, and what
size you should get. That is one of my biggest pet peeves in
the dressing room....standing there debating over which size.
Anyway, it was tons of fun. A totally different experience.
Here is one of the blouses I loved! You can wear it this way,
or you can wear the back in the front for a totally different
look. Now, that is what I love...versatility!

On-the-go Chalk Mat/Placemat Fun!

Here is my latest creation. It is a Chalkboard on one side and a Placemat on the other. The Chalk mat is featured here in Carnival Bloom by Michael Miller. I love this print because it is bursting with color. This would be great for keeping kids busy in restaurants, in the car, on airplanes, in the doctor's office, and at home. It is a laminated fabric, so just wipe clean. The chalk mat side is made from chalk cloth. Just in time for your Christmas wish list...the new Reversible Black, White, and Red Tote Bag. It is perfect for any outing. It is a large bag. Six roomy pockets on the inside allow you to organize all that you need and more! A great feature of this bag is that it is reversible. If you decide you want a different look, just flip it inside out and the pockets are now on the front and you have a totally different bag (two bags for the price of one)! The dimensions are 17"H x 14" W x 5" deep. This bag was constructed with two layers of interfacing and the fleece to make it sturdy and able to stand on its own. There was no stuffing added to help it stand in the picture. It is not stiff and is bendable for ease of use.

This bag has been treated with Scotch Guard to repel dirt and water.

Handmade Halloween!

This was my first Halloween to make my son's costume. He has been into Veggie Tales the last few months, so I thought it would be cute for him to be Bob the Tomato! It was fun to make, I thought he looked adorable. The only problem was that I could only get him to wear it for a few minutes, he did not even make it to one door with it on.
